Chromecast with Google TV gets updated with these enhancements

chromecast with google tv review

The Chromecast with Google TV receives an update that makes some nice improvements. An important innovation is that Google has worked behind the scenes to clean up the media player’s internal storage. That’s badly needed, because the Chromecast can only use about 4 of its 8GB of memory to install apps, games, and updates. That memory is quickly full, and after the update, many users will find that their media player has more free memory. It usually costs 200 to 400MB. So you unexpectedly have more space for apps and games.

“Samsung Galaxy S22 will be as expensive as its predecessor”

Samsung Galaxy S22 renders

The Samsung Galaxy S22 may not be more expensive (or cheaper) than its predecessor, the S21. Website Sammobile says it has heard from sources that Samsung is sticking to the same advisory price. This would mean that the Galaxy S22 comes with a price of 799 dollars. In the Netherlands, this year amounted to 849 euros for the S21. The website states that the price is not yet fixed, but it does seem that the entry-level model of the Samsung S22 line will be as expensive as its predecessor. What about the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra – two devices that have been rumored for some time – is still unclear.

Google TV app in the Netherlands: you can do this with it

When you open the Google Play Movies app on your Android smartphone, you’ll see that it’s changed. The application is now called “Google TV” and looks different. However, the basics have remained the same: you use the app to search for movies and can then rent or buy them. Prices vary per movie and not every title is for sale and rent. For newer movies, you sometimes have to wait a while before you can rent them. Other streaming services, such as Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus, are now also integrated. This allows you to browse through the offerings of these apps.
