Since last October, a select group of smartphones can download Android 12. However, the next version of Android is being re-keyed. Website XDA Developers got a very early version of Android 13 (codenamed Tiramisu). This version will probably not be released until the end of 2022. This reveals the screenshots of the first features of Android 13. Are you multilingual? From Android 13, you can set a different language per app. For example, WhatsApp speaks Spanish, while Facebook Messenger communicates with you entirely in English.

‘Samsung unveils Galaxy S21 FE on January 3’

Jon Prosser, a well-known name in the rumor mill, announces that the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will take place on January 3. The same source had previously indicated that this would be a day later. Why Samsung delayed the unveiling one day is unknown. Circle Monday 3 January so already in the agenda. The date on which the devices are actually in the stores has remained unchanged: 11 January. Pre-ordering the device is not rumored to be possible. If you’re interested in the S21 FE, then you should probably get there soon in January.

This Philips smartphone costs only 69 euros

With the Philips name, you probably would not immediately think of smartphones, but nevertheless the company has introduced a smartphone. This is the Philips PH1, which on average costs a little more than 69 euros. A version with more storage costs converted 107 euros. It is unclear whether the device will also arrive in Europe. The Philips phone is therefore very cheap, but that does not necessarily mean that the specifications are very disappointing. For example, the device has a large 6.5 inch screen with an HD resolution and a small notch at the top. In the notch is a modest 5 megapixel selfie camera, while for taking normal photos a dual camera is present on the back.

These Motorola smartphones get an Android 12 update

A blog post let Motorola know which smartphones will get an update to Android 12, it was discovered Android Planet. These are a total of 29 devices, not all of which have been exported to the Benelux. However, most smartphones are just for sale here. Motorola’s most expensive smartphones – such as the Edge 20 Pro and Moto G200 – come with Android 12, but also much cheaper smartphones. The company says it will begin rolling out Android 12 in February 2022, but not when users can expect the exact update. We also do not know which phones will get the new Android version first.

Huawei P50 Pocket official: small high-end folding phone

Huawei P50 Pocket

The Huawei P50 Pocket does not look at all like the previously released Huawei Mate X or Mate Xs in terms of form factor. This is a folding phone, which is very reminiscent of, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The screen on the inside has a size of 6.9 inches and a resolution of 2790 by 1188 pixels. An OLED screen has been chosen, which splashes colors from it. A second display can be found on the outside. It’s round, 1.04 inches large, and has a resolution of 340 by 340 pixels. On that screen you can see information such as the weather forecast and time, but also use buttons to operate various Huawei apps.
