iPhone 6 hard reset (instruction)

Sometimes it is necessary to give your iPhone a hard reset. An application may cause your iPhone to hang. A hard reset will restart your iPhone without any problems.

It’s pretty simple to reboot a stuck iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s. Press the power button and the home button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The iPhone will now restart and is no longer blocked.

There are several ways to reset the iPhone, but this is not a hard reset. It is possible to restore various components in Apple iOS to default values. To do this, go to the iPhone settings.

  1. Go to settings
  2. Select General
  3. Select at the bottom; Reset.

You can choose the following recovery methods here.

  • Restore all settings
  • Clear all content and settings
  • Restore network settings
  • Restore keyboard dictionary
  • Restore home screen layout
  • Restore location and privacy

If you want to sell the iPhone, and you want to completely erase the information on the iPhone, then choose Restore All Settings. You can drop questions at the bottom of the instruction, success!
