How to boot Windows 10 in recovery mode

Method 2: Hold the Shift key while restarting the computer

There are several ways you can force your system to boot into Windows 10 recovery mode. Try to access recovery mode from the Start menu using the steps given below.

Method 4: Run Command Prompt

You can use Command Prompt to start Windows 10 in recovery mode, As follows:

1. Turn on Command Prompt through the Windows Search bar, As shown.

2. Type the command: shutdown.exe /r /o and press Enter to implement.

3. Confirm the prompt that you are about to sign out to proceed to Windows RE.

Method 5: Create and use a USB drive to install Windows

If none of the above methods worked for you, then boot your computer with a USB drive to install Windows and access the repair setup as described in this method.
