Mozilla Thunderbird is a free email client developed since 2004 by the foundation Mozilla, also the originator of Mozilla Firefox. This Linux e-mail client makes it very easy to configure several POP3 or IMAP e-mail accounts.
The software is highly configurable and benefits from the latest innovations of the Mozilla Firefox web browser. The user can thus add new functionalities via the numerous extensions available. It is also possible to customize the toolbar and the interface with one of the many themes.
You will have powerful features to combat both spam and phishing attempts. Mozilla Thunderbird also benefits from cloud storage service Ubuntu One developed by the foundation Ubuntu and allowing to send large files as attachments. The recipient then receives a link to download the attachment via the online service.
