Cancel Windows 11 update and go back to Windows 10

After a few days of use, you are not convinced by Windows 11? The computer slows down, you can no longer find where the programs are, some software no longer works correctly or you are disturbed by the new graphical interface, there are many reasons for wanting to go back to Windows 10 rather than keeping the 11. Also, if your computer has automatically switched to Windows 11 without having asked for your consent too much, you may prefer to go back to Windows 10 and no longer wish to upgrade to Windows 11.

This tutorial explains how revert to Windows 10 after updating to Windows 11, on desktop and laptop, as well as on compatible tablets. This rollback operation can be done quite simply, assisted by Microsoft tools. Technically, this is possible thanks to the “Windows.old” folder which is located at the root of the main hard drive. Going back to Windows 10 costs nothing, there is no license to buy since the computer was already equipped with an activated license of Windows 10.
