The Windows Insiders program celebrated its 5th anniversary with the release of the very first non-public version of Windows 10. And today there are millions of members around the world who are part of this community.
Created in October 2014 to prepare for the release of Windows 10, the Windows Insider Program was proposed by Microsoft to consult users before a worldwide deployment of the various updates of the operating system.
In terms of new features in progress for the 20H1 edition (first half of 2020), we can cite: improved research, viewing the battery status of your smartphone from your PC, a new experience for 2-in-1 hybrid tablets, the possibility to reduce the size of the calculator (finally!), real evolutions for Notepad, etc. The complete list of improvements in Windows 10 2004 / 20H1 is detailed here.
A specific wallpaper has been created for the occasion. This is the default blue background of Windows 10 with a lighter color and a highlighting of the Windows logo. Click below to view and download the image in 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the size suitable for a desktop or laptop screen.
Since 2014, the Windows Insiders program has been extended to other Microsoft products: Windows 10 Mobile, Windows Server, Microsoft Office, Bing, Xbox and the Visual Studio development tool.
